The 15th Kashima Jingu Dedication and Japan Kobudo Exchange Demonstration

On October 5th and 6th, 2024, we participated in the annual Kashima Jingu Dedication Japan Kobudo Exchange Demonstration.

On the first day, a private session for exchange of techniques was held at the Butokuden, and on the second day, a record 38 schools, including Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu, performed a solemn dedication demonstration on the stage in front of the main hall. The rain that had been falling until the demonstration had stopped, and we were able to perform our demonstrations with all our heart in front of Takemikazuchi-no-Okami, the god of Budo. There was a lot to be gained for us from the demonstrations of otehr schools.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Kashima Jingu, Kashima City, the Nippon Budokan and the Japanese Kobudo Association, and all those involved who worked hard to hold this demonstration.
