Domestic Joint Practice 2021

On Sunday, November 21, the joint practice was held by domestic branches of Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu at Chuo-ku Sports Center in Tokyo.

More than 40 students from each branch in Japan participated in the event. While taking sufficient measures against Covid-19, students including children class members participated in the direct instruction session by Kondo Masayuki Hombucho (Headquarters Director) in the morning. And in the afternoon, Hombucho instruction session and the lecture by Kondo Katsuyuki Somucho (General Affairs Director) were also held. Although we have been keeping the activity in each branch even under the pandemic, it was really special that we gathered directly under Somucho and Hombucho and had the practice beyond the branch. It was a day full of stimulation and learning.

I believe that the students from the Setagaya Branch also got a lot of experience through practicing with black belt students from other branches. To challenge is to grow. They will bring this asset back to the dojo and utilize it in the future practice.
