3rd Anniversary of the establishment
Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu Setagaya branch celebrated its 3rd anniversary today.
Since it was a dojo that was set up from scratch, there is something deeply moving about this milestone of the 3rd anniversary.
Over the past three years, we have practiced more than 330 times while battling the pandemic, and the number of students counted to 30 including 5 brown belts students (3-kyu or higher). However, the dojo is still young, or rather, it is a child. At the time of its establishment, I thought that we should first build a foundation for a dojo by spending ten years that would lead to the future. That hasn’t changed. We have only just started laying the groundwork.
From now on, I will work together with my students to create and nurture this dojo step by step. Your continued understanding and support would be appreciated.
